Agreed my man. But as long as anyone visiting just keeps their heads on. Just stick with locals. Our Bhoys here will totally look out for you and keep you right. Like any city, there is always a wrong turn. Just be careful of which taxi firm you use. Main taxis are fonacab or value cabs. If your arriving at docks or airport. They are more expensive. But if you are in a catholic area any taxis picking you up should be 100%. Any other questions feel free to ask. I'll do my best!

Far from embarrassing, they'll probably be sold out by dinner time tomorrow.

Embarrassing might have been a bit strong but first game of the season, big game, just across the water or not even that for some...
I just thought a fairly small allocation of 1500 would have been gone in the space of hours/day..

It will sell out at some point before though, unless its the reason that fans are wary of travelling with the obvious disturbances

Can anyone confirm what players are definitely not going to make this match? Pretty worried about what team will actually be put out going by what the media are saying about injuries.

I'm hoping that the fact that no one has been completely ruled out yet, that everyone who is a doubt is touch and go rather than having no chance at all.

I think the only ones definetly out are Hooper, Watt, F.Twardzik, Ledley and Matthews plus Ambrose whos still on holiday. Van Dijk and Mulgrew are doubts.

Forrest, Brown and Mulgrew will probably play even though theyre not fully fit. Brown and Forrest have hardly played in pre-season and Mulgrew seems to be carrying an injury.

The only ones certain to start I think are

    Forster
    Lustig Wilson Izaguirre
    Kayal
    Commons Samaras
    Stokes

Other than them I think the only fully fit player is Rogic.

Reckon Rogic will start, although he'll probably get played at CM, Hooper might not be a Celtic player be Wednesday so I could see Watt getting a game up front (if he's match fit), reckon he'd tear the Cliftonville defence to shreds. Might even see Marcus Fraser at centre back, if what I hear about van Dijk, Mulgrew and Efe being unavailable is true.

I would definitely play Watt - I think he's the striker whose heart is most in it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Balde start though if i'm honest.

Absolutely shocking that we have returned 500 briefs, no excuse whatsoever, very poor show from us :38:

Well there is an excuse, due to UEFA taking ages to approve the game to be played at solitude, tickets only went on sale on friday by which time many people found it was too late to book travel arrangements and accommodation in Belfast. Also, there have been riots in Belfast as there usually is this time of year which also could have put people off. I think these tickets will be quickly snapped up by Hoops fans in Belfast. :celt_2:

We didn't have to return them, we could have sold them from the Celtic shop in Belfast, if people didn't want to travel over.
We are playing in the closest city possibly and not been able to sell our allocation is poor,

I think the fact it is being broadcast on TV is a big factor in the lack of interest in tickets. We will be lucky to break the 30,000 mark in the return leg. Trust me.

We're well past that already apparently...

Be more into the 40's than the 30's at least I'd think

I'd take a guess at 40 - 45,000 at the most. I'm going to the game myself. I've got some things to sort out in Glasgow so I figured I might as well.
