    Played for river plate,barca,real Madrid won the league and benfica hardly a bad career also had 40 caps for Argentina and spells with Monaco,Seville where he won the uefa cup and Malaga where they had a good run in Europe last year and should have went further than Dortmund...

    Consistently at a high level his whole career..

    He was about 33/34 and had been playing in the MLS, and not exactly doing great. Saviola is 31 and was playing for a good team in a good league last season.

    I think he could still scare the * out of some top European defenders and would be a big plus for us in Europe as he is very composed in front of goal
