    :97:

Why don't you just buy one then and support your club?

    Really?

I'll be renewing mine when the board makes a serious investment.

I'll splash my cash when they splash theirs.

That kind of attitude * disgust me to be honest, kind if people I hope don't go to games.

Can't really afford it to be honest but I'd scrape the barrel big time if this happened.

Lets face it this signing would certainly bring more people through the gates of Parkhead.

Why does it? I'm 18 working in a * job until college starts, I don't have the money to buy a season ticket + travel costs.

I've had one for the last 7 years and I'm not willing to renew yet.

Like, for example, £4.2M out in a transfer window before anything came in? That equates (roughly) to 3 years of tv money to the club......as an example that would mean Man U would have to spend £300M on players next season if they won the EPL - just to keep up with our expenditure based on tv income.

It's when we look at these cold, hard facts that some of the remarks made with regard to the board begin to look rather silly I am afraid.

It's different if you can't afford it.

Not renewing because we haven't signed who you think we should sign should just get to *. Kinda arsebandits that sit in the stafium and do nothing but moan even when we're about 5 nil up on tough teams like Dundee United.

Not really happy with the comment to be fair.

What gives you the right to say * like that?

    It's true.

who the * would buy a ST just because a player signed for us?

We support Celtic not Saviola or whoever.

    Bollocks.

If we don't sign any class players il probably manage about 10/12 games this season. Oh aye but like you said you'd rather people like me don't go very good!

I'll still support them just a common fact that these signings attract fans even more.

    Glory hunters then.

Anyone that can afford a ST and doesn't buy one because of a lack of "big names" is a * glory hunter.

Probably the sort of clown that switches teams every season to reflect who is spending big and winning matches.

Like those twats you see cutting in Man * tops, clowns.

    Very true.

I'd be more inclined to go to a match if we signed players like Saviola rather than a championship player. Fans want to see quality.

Not exactly. A season ticket is still a lot of money. Why spend all that money if you're not getting to see good quality week in week out? I had a season ticket a couple of seasons ago and we were dreadful at home the majority of the time. Winning by 1 goal a lot of the time and just generally playing *.

I don't mean we need "big names", but we want players of * ability.

Because to me, that's what a Celtic supporter does.

Supports the team through thick and thin, good and bad, no matter what.

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

In saying that his career has gone completely downhill. I remember when he was the hottest young striker in the world for the Argentina under-20's.

Incredible tale of promising so much from a young age, yet delivering so little.
