Aye, Wilson is the best defender we've had since Bobo at actual defending. Reads the game well, tackling is superb and he has good recovery pace. Ideal for European games, only bad thing is hes not that good in the air, if big Virgil is dominant in the air and can defend well too then it could be a class partnership - he worked well with Mulgrew who is good in the air but defensively Mulgrew isnt that strong.

Wonder if these are the reasons behind Bangura and Miku, must be harder coming and speaking a different language all the way from the other side of the world!

Glad to hear he will give the new boys a helping hand!

I give Ambrose a bit of stick lately maybe after reading this about Kelvin a might learn to become more patient with Efe cos Wilson turned it around big time. Commons musta been the same in his 2nd season u cant just stop being a good player unless somethings going on at home and he came back from it.

I'll be honest, after the first season I had no confidence in him at all and thought he was a complete waste of a signing. Though I'm very glad that he has proven me wrong, easily our best defender last season, and one of the few players who more than held their own versus Juve. Its good to hear that he's settled in Glasgow now and hopefully he can continue his great form and receive an England call up.

Hard to disagree with anything there :50:

I remember the horror show he had in his first season when we lost 4-2 to the zombies at Mordor. Feared the worst when he passed the ball straight to Naismith and thought we had signed a complete diddy. More than happy to be proved wrong since then.
