Aubameyang hat-trick on his debut for BVB. Cool as you like, rounds the keeper after latching on from an Lewandowski through ball.

 

Dortmund wont be missing Lewandowski much when he goes now. Aubameyang can do the job

 

Insane he went for under £12m * steal at that price.

 

Aye Dortmund certainly have an eye for a bargain

 

Aubameyang was hugely impressive today. Lewandowski looked a bit disinterested at times but got his goal at the end.

All in all, decent start to the season. Bayern aren't going to have it their own way.

 

Good win for Dortmund and great start Aubameyang.

 

First time since the end of 2011-12 that Bayern are not in first place. Last year they played Greuther Fuerth on the first matchday so they were ahead on goal differential from day one.

 

I see Frankfurt got pumped 6-1 the day off Hertha. It would be a shame to see them get relegated this season after coming so close to the CL last season.

Schalke 3-3 Hamburg there. Brilliant game I thought. Went 1-0, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3, 3-3 and in the end 5-5 or 6-5 would've been a fair reflection on the game, brilliant.

 

I've thought it for ages, but the Bundesliga is actually much more unpredictable and exciting than the EPL is, especially recently. But then whenever something slightly unpredictable, we never hear the end of how this makes the EPL the best league in the world from Sky. The Bundesliga isn't so self-promoting and arrogant when it's entertaining and that's one of the reasons why I love it.

Anyway, brilliant game.

 

Sky are flogging a product that their own financial fate is closely tied to.

 

watching a full epl match is * relentlessly boring

 

3.88 goals/match after the first round. That's a full goal higher than most league averages (and still higher than the Eredivisie). Small sample size, but still.

Yeah. They pump millions into it, so they relentlessly self promote it in order to increase it's popularity. Understandable, but it still * me off.
