    Happy to see him go. I've no problem with him wanting a bigger move so long as the fee is decent. Just hope it's done sooner rather than later.

    Nah earliest for me was after the last qualifier. Later for me would be pointless dragging on of transfers until the last hour of the transfer window just so Sky sports news can have a story.

    Do we think we're gonna get a penny over 10mil for him? The longer it drags on and with a deafening silence from other clubs I can see it being 9,975,000 or some * or even the 8 that I read of during the week.

    After last year and this years CL effort and letting in 10 goals in our 4 biggest games i think we will be lucking to get 8 million for him.


    Yes he is only part of the defence but i think it will affect the price...hope im wrong though.

    I sure hope your right. Would love to see him playing for us at least for one more season. Will be interesting to see if he is the starting lineup tomorrow against St Johnstone.

    He is often seen on they bikes at the window to be fair before heading out. Maybe was just a bit of rest day for him, not like he was punted to train with the development boys.

    All quiet on the transfer front but everything will start going nuts from sunday night when the BPL teams all start using up the budgets.

    Southampton have taken in more than they've spent so have plenty to burn. A big signing or two and they will all start buying again.

    Celtic should have made it clear that VVD would not / will not be sold in the last week of the transfer window as it does not leave much time for getting a replacement...

    i dont think Celtic should make that policy for all players - - but ones such as VVD who are important that we don't have cover for then this should be our club policy

    if he does not want to play for our club then get him punted and bring in a player who wants to be here

    Only aboubt 60 hours left of the transfer window, with no new stories developing as of right now who knows maybe he will stay? Tbh i think he needs to go as i think we were in a loss making position last season (accounts out in the next couple of weeks) and will need to make that up again. I also think we could do a lot with 10 Million in the transfer market (not that we have any time/deila going to see 100% reinvestment in players).
