Kinda glad he's going. Gets found out too often in Europe, and if he doesn't want to be here and improve, then I'd rather have the £10M.

(Note: I am a fan of his, by the way, but I do recognise his current limitations.)

The thought of selling him and spending the next few months with Boyata and Ambrose as our centre-back pairing scares the living * out of me. That would not be good.

It's clear he is away and to be honest we will miss him. He has looked a class apart most of the time domestically but has looked very average against any half decent European opposition. Think that says more about our league than anything and highlights the gulf. Wish him luck, shame he is going as he is our best defender by a good bit. Don't get the "he can * off" chat, no one covered themselves in glory from our European campaign so harsh to single him out. Good player, good luck.

Will be forgotten about this time next week when we sign a Slovenian CB for £600,000 who grew up watching Billy McNeill videos in his Celtic jammies and has a dug called Mjallby.

Well I hope we have a deal in place to sell him for the reported 10.5 million. Said it a good few times he looks good in the league and is found out in Europe. We get that money and we are, sorry Lawwell is laughing.

Last nights performance won't exactly have upped his value!

Isn't as good as he thinks he is it's all well and good dominating SPL diddy teams it's a whole different ball game up against Benteke, Costa and Sanchez in the EPL

"I'm not looking for anything, this is a great place to be."

"Celtic is an amazing club, and this is a great place to be."

Exact quotes. What a primadonna, eh :87: :87:

We all know he wants to leave - you'd need to be a complete idiot to think otherwise.

he also said "he will consider offers" - he's basically saying if he gets a good offer, he will leave. But I like Celtic.

The quicker we get him out of the door for 10 million plus the better, still yet to see him boss a European game.

He's definitely leaving, yeah. But * last night were saying things like "throw his toys out of the pram" and rubbish like that, really annoyed me. They're just attaching the "over-confident foreigner!" traits to him due to insecurity.

Van Dijk looked the most devastated out of everycunt last night I thought.

Hold the bus lad, no * has even mentioned anything negative towards his ethnicity or anything of the sorts.

You've been about the block long enough to know the kind of comments you get on here after a devastating defeat such as last night. It's called "projection".

Probably because he wanted to leave on a high.

People can say what they want about him, but he's an ambitious professional of the highest order. He wants to win every game he plays in, and when you see his reaction to us conceding a goal, even if we're three or four up, you know he takes his * seriously.

People on here last night questioning his commitment were well wide of the mark in my opinion.
