He didn't play well, but you are being a tad melodramatic in claiming he never gave a *.

but if he knows hes off to pastures new, then why would he give a *? he knows he can play europa with Southampton and thats whats been agreed. as soon as qualifiers are over, they will get him. between now and next week. these players dont care about the club. you are delusional if you think they do.

im not calling anyone names, but lets face it van dijk is for the off by the end of the transfer window. if we are honest, we should have got rid last year when there was interest. would rather a team of celtic fans to be honest, might seem ridiculous, but im fed up being a feeder club. we had no heart tonight and van dijk was one of the worst. i want players playing for the jersey. who we are. who we represent.

romantic? aye maybe, but how bad could it really be? worse than this? papped oot by a team with 10% our budget?

I hope he leaves tomorrow and then gets found out every single week on match of the day. Bigger names and better players have left this great club and we survived. If anything we looked more solid at the back with big Kelvin in control.

Really poor for both legs and in fact I can't remember him being a stand out when we've played in europe to be fair so 12m+ would be decent.

It was an important game and our 'best player' did not turn up when it mattered and hasn't from what I can remember in Europe. Forrest didn't create anything tonight but at least tried to make something happen.

He didn't play well tonight, but I wouldn't say that's cuz he doesn't want to be here. You can see it in his face, the pain he feels when we concede or lose a game, and the joy when we score or win a game.
Whether that's affection for the club, or that he's a professional who always wants to win, you can't say he doesn't give a *...cuz he clearly does.

Saying that, if it is true that a fee had been pre-agreed, then that could be a good thing, cuz tonight's performance would have dropped his price tag a mil or two.

He cost us two consecutive goals in this Tie that put us out. I'll miss him overall but he really did hurt us in this tie.

Wasn't great at all but neither was any other * on the night.

He is still suspect against better opposition at times but I think that will be ironed out once he is playing in a top league week in week out.

With us he is used to strolling past 3 or 4 players at a time, must be a culture shock coming up against players who are at least going to give you a bit of a go.

Make no mistake, we will miss him big time.
