    Pretty much sums it up I'm afraid.
    He hasn't even played CL proper. Lower calibre teams in the qualifyers only and some reckon he was worth £15 million? Based on what? He's good, but that's his 'value' dropped substantially. He's gone.

    I honestly see your point here. I liked Van Dijk I think he has been solid in games but he is overrated and has been caught out in Europe.

    Let's not beat around the bush here... VVD has NEVER impressed in a truly BIG game. He can saunter about all he likes against ICT and Killie, but he has not shown he is capable under pressure.

    Pistol Pete's first bit of business tomorrow morning should be to pack Virgils bag for him and book him a second class train ticket to Southampton!
