    I really don't like the idea of waiting until the 25th of August to see if we qualify for the Champions League, then having approximately 6 days to get a replacement for Van Dijk.

    Who makes this * up? So apparently there has been an offer excepted weeks ago but the deal won't go through until after the qualifiers, now we're going to drop him for the last, and most important, game of the qualifiers!
    Why delay the deal and then not play him? * ridiculous journalism.

    You honestly think he's "way" ahead of him? I'll agree Virgil has more to his game in terms of goal threat (including his free kicks) and he's got an edge with his height, but I wouldn't say that Virgil is by far and away a better defender.

    Pish hes going no were just now, mirror printed it, a * who thought he was kn to something because he never seen him in the line up yesterday, the people and various other unreliable rags have jumped on the mirror story, if its on that vital! Its got to be true haha

    Celtic will not sell there best centre half 1 day before the clubs biggest game in 2 years !!

    If they did it would have to be 20 million, as big chris sutton said hes better than john stones and a think so as well, hope when he ffinally does leave we get upwards of 18 million , if celtic hold out for it they can get it, especially with the sums the epl are throwing about!!

    Wish the press up here started speaking like sutton!! Then we will not see our best players leave for that 10 million every journalist and pundit starts spouting once we bring in a quality player.
