Kane scores goals which inflates price.

Sterling is a good player but not a 40 or 50 million quid one. Yet, anyway.

    Spot on :50:

I'm not going to talk about Southampton again after this.

Somebody mentioned it's the same as the 3 Dundee Utd players joining us. Nah, different. Two of them have a SPFL medal in their display cabinets and all of them have played in CL qualifiers which they wouldn't have done if they stayed where they were.

Looking at the pedigree of the club our ex-players joined I think it's fair to say that (apart from the money) the best they can hope for is to increase their stock and get a move to a club that has a slim chance of winning a trophy.

You know, that's so true it almost makes me weep.

He is referring to the parent company, not the football club. Look at the records on Companies House and you'll see the football club has never legally been in administration and so has never needed a CVA. The football club was an asset of a company in administration and was bought by Liebherr.

Bored of this now. Its a fact and Companies House proves it.

Compared to Portsmouth where both the parent company and football club BOTH went into admin.

    Example A (Southampton)
    - Parent company goes into admin and has multiple assets one of which is the football club
    - Football Club does not legally go into admin
    - Football club has no need for a CVA as has never been in admin
    - Football Club is sold as an asset of another company

Example B (Portsmouth and many other football clubs including Rangers)
    - Parent company legally goes into admin
    - Football Club legally goes into admin
    - Parent company and football club both need CVAs

Can you really not see the difference?

He just said it again. Mohammed isn't interested but he is pretty *. I don't think he can deviate from his script for a second or he really struggles. ( not great on a programme where you have to react to goals :smiley-laughing002:)

Scottish "Man Utd" fan called Mal :97: on Five live 606 spewing that Virgil ain't good enough for Man Utd or any other Premiership side, real anger in his voice that Spl was rubbish and he ain't good enough. Robbie Savage saying he watched him the other night and though he looked good, Mal conceded that maybe he would be ok at Stoke or something :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002: Yer a Hun Mal ya angry Zombie *!!!!!!! CL closer and over £10 million if he goes, eat our dust ya manky knuckle dragging tadger!!!!

Interesting reading through this thread. So many people in the past have said he didn't do much in the CL his first season here. But I think people remember his poor game against Milan too much. Looking through, the away leg against Milan, home leg against Barcelona and both Ajax games, people were on here after each of those saying how colossal he was or how he was best player on the park etc.

I've always said it. He was by far our best outfield player in that campaign.

I dunno if you're asking me or if you meant to say another team, so I'll leave this here.
