Not really because Rangers legally were in admin, Southampton FC were not. Rangers required a CVA (which they couldn't agree and died), Southampton FC did not require a CVA as they have never legally been in admin... so different situations.

Rangers died in 2012, Southampton FC did not die in 2009.

Sutton just talking about Man Utd defence and who they should buy and said the 7m been quoted for Virgil is "ridiculous" as "he is a better player than John Stones".

Alderweild is better than Stones and went for £12M, Eriksen is better than Sterling went for around £12M as well, unbelievable how inflated the prices are for average English players with a bit of potential.

Shaw as well, he's a fairly average player, really no better than Rojo or Blind who Man U also signed for less than Shaw combined.

Being English can double you're value.

Sterling I think is actually probably worth about £40million though, he's already proven to be quite good is only 20, probably always will be a £25million atleast player but could go on to be world class. But Shaw, Stones and Kane should probably be worth like £15million, £15million and £25million rather than £30million and £40million.
