    I was meaning more that whilst we may not be able to replace the player with another of equal/better quality, we can bring in players good enough to play in said position for Celtic.

    Still though, even if we do get a Kelvin Wilson type centre half, Virgil would still be a huge miss.

    Kelvin Wilson was a good player for us but Virgil is an a different level to him , that's why Virgil won't be moving to Nottingham Forrest for pennies. We would have to be very very lucky with our budget to directly replace Virgil with a player of the same ability.

    Didn't Wilson go the Forrest for about £2m? Hardly pennies for a homesick player we allowed to leave after getting him for nothing.
