They both happened on the same day, McFadden doing it to Hamilton fans and Cummings doing it to Hearts fans.

SFA pulled them up offering 2 match bans, McFadden accepted the 2 match ban, Cummings appealed and was found "not proven"

How can they ban a * and let another away with an unproven despite video and picture evidence of both theyre a joke.

 

How the * are any of those gestures worthy of a ban?

 

Are all the non Celtic supporting fans and media who also believe it wasn't a red card all viewing it through green tinted specs as well then aye?

 

VVD's wont get rescinded , Paton's will , Butcher off with it as well as Cifti.

 

Aye its amazing to think Tonev got a 7 game ban with no evidence yet Ciftci still hasnt been punished for assaulting 2 people on camera.

The linesman runs on the pitch and grabs Butcher pulls him away and then looks awful confused when confronted with Dillon telling him to send off two players and Paton running across getting himself sent off for trying to get Celtic players sent off.

There's no need to do that unless you think it's your best chance of winning the game.

It's a tactic we saw against Inter Milan as well.

Fuckit. It makes the next games very interesting. But essentially it's the fecking linesman that's caused this whole sorry mess, who's apparently a massive bluenose.

You'd have to wonder why they's put a diehard in to be running on the pitch and then realizing he's not meant to be on the pitch and he's just had a total brainfart.

It's the same guy who's seen in this blast from the past when Mulgrew played for Aberdeen.

Anybody should be banned for 3 games it's this clueless wonder, but he'll be backed to the hilt.

 

Van Dijk probably will get banned in a bid to stop the treble. It's maybe better for the sponsors or something like that. Or the closed circle between the referees and the disciplinary board. They know public opinion on it and can maybe hide behind that.

But it's difficult to say for sure, but my own opinion is Van Dijk's been cleaned out and the defender won the ball, there's some afters but nobody got hurt other than Broony who took a kick to the head.

 

Why did the linesman run on to protect specifically butcher who was infuriated, from being sent off in the first place?
He never stood in the middle, he went straight over to the united batch and stood body guard to butcher, the aggressor not broony booted in the head or van dijk getting booted on the floor.

I'm paranoid, look at the state of the wee *, the hun is pouring out of him. I could be wrong but has he not done us a few occasions that were suspect? At tannadice this season in the league as well?

Heard today from a reliable person Celtic think the ban won't be overturned. If that happens it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

 

They've picked on the wrong club if they don't over turn the VVD red card. Whether or not you think both him and Butcher deserved their reds, Celtic will pursue this because of the * ridiculous rules. Rules that someone came up with and then other signed off on them.

I think VVD will have his red over turned.

 

He should definitely have it overturned, there is no evidence on video of any stamp.

 

I don't think van Dijk will have the red card overturned. They are already not punishing Butcher due to some sort of "loophole" (yet will that supposed loophole be fixed? Doubt it) so I won't be surprised if van Dijk's card stands.

It will be * atrocious if it does though and I hope Celtic manage to pursue it somehow because if van Dijk is the only one punished in all that then it will just show even more how incompetent the SFA are.
