I haven't seen it again since yesterday, but to my recollection that fuckpig Butcher has a sly kick at van Dijk as soon as both attempt to get "tangle-free".

There is no stamp at all. First two have to be rescinded, its a joke if they're not. Third one must stand and Ciftci should get done for his kick at Brown's head. Brown might have recieved a booking for his tackle but the ref seen it and deemed it fine so nothing more should be done about it.

Naw, I mean as both players are falling or have fell following van Dijk's challenge, Butcher was behind van Dijk both clipping away trying to get out of the tangle - i'm sure Butcher kicks out at him?

Must have a look at it again....

I thought I saw butxher try to push vvd away with his foot.
Still don't see any attempt from vvd to stamp or hurt butcher. Simply tries to stnd up and walk away.

I think he is just trying to stand up. The action in the knee for standing and stamping is identical.

Video evidence clears Virgil for me but its the SFA, he's likely to get another 5 games than cleared.

There's no way the sfa can justify not banning ciftci retrospectively. It's as blatant a kick at someone your ever likely to see, even worse that it was aimed at the back of broony's head. Should be at they very minimum a 4 game ban, but given the * has plenty of history it should be more. The wee diving * has to be banned, given that derk was earlier in the season. Fair play to ronny for bringing that up aswell.

I can't see van dijk having his red overturned unfortunately, and that is a massive blow, although efe has been solid past few games. Paton will obviously have his overturned and I think butcher will get off with it, which is *, but I can't see the sfa banning 3 of their players from the same game, and ciftci's is more clear cut, and will be easier to hand out.

I cannie find the vid for the incident, but (from memory) I'm sure you can see the wee *'s facial expression change to aggression as he has a sneaky kick at the back of Virgil.

Van Dijk in NO way stamps/hacks the *.

I doubt he'll get cleared, there was * all in it really though.

Butchers tried to knee Van Dijk in the baws though.

I don't think it was a sending off.

Obviously being a Celtic fan you'd expect me to say that but I can honestly say if I was a neutral watching that game I'd want it to be given as a booking, especially 10 mins into what had the potential to be a good contest. When I first saw it, live, without replay's it looked to me like Butcher went to punch him in the stomach as well. Virgil kind of got up and laughed it off.

Load of *, I knew as soon as the ref and linesman were taking about 5 mins to discuss it that it was going to be bad news. For that baldy * to then send aff the wrong UTD player just highlights how inept the officials in this country really are.

I am also quite worried about the lack of people(not on here, just in general) highlighting Ciftci's clear boot at Brown in the heed? He should be done for that. Brown's challenge was a bit extreme but for Ciftci to react like that, has to compose himself there. He is lucky Brown isn't the kind of player to roll around screaming.

Van Dijk and Butcher were both yellow cards, he looked to be stamping down towards him but it's hard to say, might of been trying to up but why would he plant his foot on the other side of Butcher, * all in it really between them seen far worse and nothing been done.

Celtic I imagine will contact Sky to get the footage from this angle

Which will either clear him or find him guilty as it would be perfect view, on TV and the highlights the cut from it just at that point before you can see what happens and the other 2 camera angles are unclear.

Van * stamped on Butcher, it was a red card. I think people might be viewing it through green tinted glasses.

You never know what will happen anyway.

Tonev was banned without any proof or witness. Kris Boyd headbutted a * on TV seen from numerous angles and it was said to be "not proven". :56: someone else forgot who it was, think it was another Dundee Utd player got away with something as "not proven" a few weeks ago despite it being on TV.

Someone correct me if I'm just viewing this through green-tinted lenses here, but what I saw quite clearly from the replay (again and again) was Van Dijk not watching what he was doing and trying to disentangle himself from Butcher, Butcher initially trying to disentangle as well, then losing it with Van Dijk and quite clearly kicking out. If anything, that should have been a yellow to Butcher and nothing for Van Dijk. Could maybe see a yellow for VVD, but that would be stretching it, imo. It really doesn't look like there was any intent from him.

Ciftci elbowing a St.Johnstone player on the back of the head no where near the ball? Not sure what got done but the St.Johnstone player got sent off for reacting.
