    He steps on Butcher's thigh. I figured that was why he was sent off? If it was deliberate that's a red, but I don't think it was. The tackle looked like a yellow card to me at most.

    Ciftci should have seen red for that head kick on Broony.

    The SFA will declare it not proven again ...even though we actually see him kicking Broony in the * head. lol

    It was never a sending off, that butcher was a dirty * all game trying to boot Virgil and he was the * running to Thomson the first half hour trying to get broony carded over every tackle. If that guys no a hun I'll be amazed..

    No chance this will be overturned but, don't see the point in the appeal, they will never hammer them without at least one of us out as well..

    My feeling is that it will be rescinded as it was the linesman who said the words 5 and 6 off if you watch it you can see Thompson saying off and the linesman nods his head the linesman * it and Thompson * it by not using common sense ever red in that game should be rescinded imo

    Can see it a mile away:

    Brown will receive a ban for his two-footed lunge, Butcher will not.

    Paton will have his card over-turned, Butcher will receive no retrospective action against him, Virgil's card will remain in tact.

    Ciftci will receive no punishment.

    If the red cards are not rescinded then you'd have to question the motive behind the decision not to.

    Replay that same incident in any other game in Britain and the cards would be rescinded without a doubt.

    If these one's are not, then there should be outrage.

    It looks more like he goes to get up butcher keeps him there and he takes a leg kick hard to explain what it really was to get out of the tangle and hits him a bit definetley not deliberate

    Patons will be dropped don't know if they have the balls to get butcher and ciftci done so fast before the final and van dykes will stand and brown will probably get done for some odd reason that people think his challenge was bad bet my bottom dollar

    Yeah read that on the BBC before, must be from another suspension in the League Cup.

    * of a player but him and Brown would have ended up having a punch up so probably for the best.

    Doubt Van Dijk's red will be rescinded, purely because it's Scotland and the SFA never want to admit that any of our officials are in the wrong. Will be a pleasant surprise if it is.

    Don't quote me on this but I don't think any retrospective punishment can be handed out to Brown because the referee saw the challenge and chose not to give anything.

    I still dont see where this supposed stamp is from vvd. Is it after the challenge as he is trying to be untangled? Or is it in the challenge before the players get tangled?
