Would love another season, him and Denayer have been a great combination. Would love Denayer for another year, but not sure if he'll possibly get a more lucrative league to play in for a loan or such. Excellent young player.

Id say he will be off in the summer but we MUST try to get him a new deal. At the very least he has to stay until after the qualifiers.

 

Please one more season after this, big man. You belong here!

 

I think Van Dijk's attitude is brilliant. Its alot like Wanyama's who also knew that he would get his move when it suited everybody and not just him. I he does go in the summer he has been the best centre back we have had in my life time and can reach the top of the game.

 

One big mistake celtic have made in the past is letting players leave before we have played our CL qualifiers.
And nearly all the teams buying from us are no where near the CL so selling after we have payed those games would not be a problem.
If they really want a player im sure they will wait a few games.
Out of all our players VVD is the one i am most sure about leaving this summer,get him sat down celtic and say yes if you want you can go but we want the qualifiers from you first.
I think its the least these players can do after using us to get to the leagues down south.

 

He'll go in the summer, hopefully to team who have qualified for the CL.

Well, the power is all with Celtic. It's Lawwell that accepts the bid, not him.

And he's hardly going to go in the huff and not play if we make him stay a few more weeks, as that would put a lot of clubs off.

 

A very noticeable change in his attitude and performances of late. I don't think that can be argued..

 

To be fair FF stayed until we thought we were out of CL contention, not sure if that was part of the deal. I guess it will depend who needs him and whether they are trying to qualify for Europe themselves.

 

We sold him after we got back in though.

Lawwell won't give a *, he'll sell as soon as we get an alright offer. Wanyama was sold for an absolute * take price. A price that will no doubt haunt us for years as teams will refuse to pay over £12 million for our players.

It'll look like that when Southampton make a fortune on him. We could easily have squeezed an extra £5-8 million out of them, I reckon.
