Will be sad to see him eventually leave. Him and Denayer are becoming stronger as each game goes by.

 

Hype's went to his head. Barring the odd decent game, he's so lazy & complacent. Needs to get the finger out or he'll be getting no big money move.

 

Missed his deputy tonight and had to play alongside his donkey.

 

That sums it up for me too. Having to wet nurse Ambrose would make anybody look bad.

 

It was the other way about tonight.

Ambrose bailed out Virgil a couple of times.

 

He's been rank beside Denayer aswel. Ambrose was the better of the 2 tonight.

 

lol yep! But I do agree with Sean with regards tonight. Efe was slightly better than VVD.

 

Agreed the big man looked a bit lack luster tonight and not his usual, I guess he is allowed a poor game now and then.

 

I dont think that Van Dijk will go anywhere in Jan/summer. He is a good defender in the league, but extremely overrated. The amount of nonsence i've read on here about him is hilarious. some people actually rate him higher then the likes of Mjällby.

He never turns up against decent opposition. And trust me, i have never jumped on the hype-wagon with him.

 

I don't think so. Ambrose was at fault for the 1st and 3rd goals IMO.
What we call a donkey, I feel sorry for Virgil having to play alongside him.

 

In terms of who to blame for the third, look no further than Craig Gordon. He made a * of it.

I'm always more than happy to reiterate how pish Ambrose is, but tonight he was no worse than Virgil.

 

Full defence was missing for the third goal. You're obviously one of these people who have a hard on fot a player and can't see how poor he has been playing. He's been shown up time and time again lately.... whether it's the huff over no call up for The Netherlands, the huff at not getting away in the summer, laziness, thinks he's better than he is or he just isn't that good. Something isn't right with him... looks a shadow of the player he was when he first came

 

he had a very poor game tonight.

 

I think he's a bit over-rated.

 

Poor today.. He seems to have an inflated opinion of himself after last season, not good.

 

Said it before and it's a worry that his mentality doesn't match his genuine quality..

Even for there penalty appeal i thought he was very slack, he's thrown that back leg flick out so many times, luckily for us he/we usually get away with it..

 

He needs to get his head out of the clouds and play some football.
