If he has any sense and regard for the progress of his own career, he will be gone come the close of the transfer window.

To put some perspective into that argument, I think you must also include Victor Wanyama. He seems to be doing just fine.

Exactly you can't blame players for wanting a crack at playing against the best week in week out while pocketing a few bob Ofcourse I disagree especially with the hooper wanyama saga

It's mad we have there best keeper and central defender we have In years and people where saying sell Forster sell Forster but now it's Virgil he's a *? Don't quite get that tbh

That's the thing for me now. We could sell him for £80m or £8 and we wont see any of that reinvested.

No matter what he goes for, the manager will not see a single penny of that money.

Same here. The only two players I feel an attachment to in this team are Izaguirre and Lustig. They really get what the club means to people. I don't want anyone at our club who just uses it as a stepping stone, although this is the harsh reality. We've had to go through Larsson, McNamara and Moravcik leaving so we can deal with anyone leaving out of the current squad.

Then we desperately need a centre half. Can't be doing with Ambrose or Mulgrew back there :40:

SUNDERLAND - Virgil van Dijk is in the emphatically Sunderland bound. The Dutch defender would told dutch media he no longer wants to stay at Celtic. More The Scottish team was in the playoffs of the Champions League turned off by the tiny Maribor and thus the sporting aspects of Celtic be ready. For years, the team has become an undisputed champion in Scotland and there is no more tension.

Sunderland, which plays in the English Premier League, has according to Voetbal International reported at Celtic to take over. Former player of FC Groningen First asked the Scots a sum of around 10 million for Van Dijk, but the price has been agreed at £6m due to Champions League elimination.

I don't buy into the idea that us not being in the champions league can knock the price down that much.

The potential and quality of the player has still remained the same, we should at least be looking for £8m.

The thing is though, we have had players who could soften the blow of losing these players. We are threadbare on quality in the team at the minute as it is, and Van Dijk leaving will only weaken the team further. It makes sense now the loan signing of Denayer. He wasn't signed to partner Van Dijk, but to replace him.

Another feather in the cap of the money men. Sell Van Dijk for decent money, and bring in a guy on loan that will cost virtually nothing.
