    I'm liking Big Virgil more every game. He reminds me a bit of Paul Elliot. Tough in the tackle and can play a bit. His partnership with Efe is looking good as well.

    I wonder if we will be able to hold on to Virgil at the end of the season. Would like to see him stay with us for a couple of seasons at least, as it has been a long time since we have had such a rock of a central back.

    Has the potential to be a better centre back than any we have had for a LONG LONG time, could even overtake the likes of Mjallby should he use his head and stay with Celtic.

    Who was it on the panel of the game at the weekend that said he was like Frank Rijkaard, was it Peter Grant?? hes like a magnet to the ball on the deck and in the air it never gets past him and he strolls about with the ball and pings it about efforlessly. Another £10million+ in the bag.

    So cool on the ball, makes everything he does look effortless. He WILL clean sweep all domestic player awards come the end of the season.
