Am I the only one tht hated last years black kit? The white 125th anniversary strip was a screamer though!

Why not have just the magners logo, why have those stupid stripes?!. If you're going to put stripes on it at least have it on the whole shirt and not just at the chest area.

I loved the 125th anniversary kit, wish we wore it the whole season tbh, thought there was supposed to be stripes in the away top

Nobody has to buy them, if you want the best for the club then you do to add to their money. Think of the lost money if you only released new tops every 2 years, over 10 years youd lose out on about £30million. What is going to make up for that? Nike probably wouldnt give us £5million a year either if we didnt release as much tops, maybe they'd only give us £3million and if we had less tops probably less people would visit the superstore or shops, so added to the £30million lost just on people buying tops youd lose £20million from sponsors and maybe £1million from less people going to the shops. You could be talking £50million down the drain every 10 years by only releasing tops every 2 years.

From a soulless, mercenary, corporate perspective I'm sure that all makes sense. Releasing 2 new strips every season is just ripping the * out of it and ripping fans off though. That's my opinion.

This notion of releasing new tops every season is a recent phenomenon, it never used to be the case. It's just ruthless capitalism and exploitation of fans because they know if they release a new strip then parents will feel dutybound to buy them for their kids and the majority of fans will do the same because nobody wants to be walking about in last season's kit. They know they can get away with it so they have started taking liberties. If they're going to release new strips every season then the least they could do is lower the prices a bit but I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

I used to buy all the strips, home and away, but I no longer do. I haven't bought an away strip for about 6 seasons now and I have no intention of buying another one anytime soon. It * me off because I like to have all of Celtic's strips but I'm not being taken for a mug and I feel that's what's going on when there's new tops being released every single season.

I know most disagree, however if that yellow number is the official release, I will be over the moon with both strips.

My mate had a picture on his mobile of a design for the new away kit. It was a real cracker too, much nicer than the one in this thread. It must have been a fake. :54:

If that yellow shirt is this seasons away kit, I would be happy.
I love this seasons home one aswell.

I like the yellow one that someone has photoshopped Watt's head on to.

I just don't like that yellow. The best yellow one was the 01 season. Darker shade, almost golden.
That canary yellow one was a disaster. Hideous kit that was.

Don't like the Barca style mock up, unless the green stripes were made thinner. The one with Watt looks ok but it's canary yellow that puts me right off.

I'm not feeling the canary yellow either mate.

Tbh I don't like any of the mock ups I have seen, here's hoping they are completely way off the mark :smiley-laughing002:

Its not just us, Ive seen man of next seasons kits and there are so many rancid ones, no idea whos marketing strategy it is to release an ugly a shirt as possible and think it will sell.

A particular mention for the new Liverpool away shirts, they are so bad it makes you wonder if they are doing a test to see if people really will buy trash if it happens to have your clubs badge on it.

I criticise Nike very much but thank * we dont have Warrior!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going with a similar theme on the home kit with those green stripes.

If it is the kit id prefer it without the stripes along the chest however it is better than the home one.
