    Said this at the time, most of the players they bought are good, but very few are really Champions League quality players.

    For example Soldado is a player who needs a team built around his needs, because he's quite limited aside from goal poaching. Lamela is still very young, there's a reason why Eriksen was always talked about but no BIG club ever took a chance on him. Paulinho, definitely really talented but he's very similar to Demebele, surely they'd have been better getting someone like Gustavo to hold and let Demebele be the box to box player as opposed to two of them.
