Amido Balde

I'd like us to loan him and Watt to Hibs next season.

 

Would be a decent idea loaning good young fringers to the decent sides in the championship, kill two birds with one stone... Them getting game time at a decent level and in the mean time * the huns of automatic promotion, even though that looks unlikely anyway..

 

It's quite irritating with Balde. I mean, looking at the goal against Partick, Kilmarnock away and even Liverpool in Pre-Season, the guy clearly has ability.

I think it'd do him good to go out on loan, but I think we really need him to go to an SPL side, or at the very least England. There is no point in loaning him back to Portugal, like we've done with Rogic, I cannot understand why we've sent him to Australia.

 

The reason Rogic was loaned out to Australia was because he wasn't going to make it here
and it was thought to send him to Australia , he may make the World Cup , and come back here with renewed determination to work hard enough to make an impression .
It may make sense to send Balde to Portugal as maybe he will find the sparkle that is so obviously missing and a year's hard work with newly found confidence may just make a footballer of some ability out of him . I don't think he will improve anywhere in the Uk .

 

Absolutely no point sending him to Portugal. The style of play is completely different and we don't want him basically forgetting everything he has learned here and just reverting back to the Portuguese style.

 

Every time I've seen him he has looked clumsy and has no touch.

His power has barged his through a few situations, but overall he looks poor.

He has done nothing to prove me otherwise.

 

This is the main thing for me with him. Charging at a defense with nothing much to do then he seems fine, but he doesn't really seem to have any type of dribbling skills at all. I keep trying to think that he's just not played that much, but he doesn't fill me with a great deal of confidence when I see him play.

 

Anyone happen to get a video of Johansen and a few others singing Amido-Amido-Amido-*-Balde? Was when Balde lifted the trophy.

 

Spare a thought for the big man.

I noticed in the team mates video with Brown and Matthews where theyve to use one word to describe a team mate when asked about Balde, Matthews goes "tall" and then him and Broony start laughing, came across like they were laughing at him as he was * just the way they done it

Almost like when someone tells you a burd fancies ye and you ask what she's like, they tell you she's "bubbly"......

Just the way they laugh and look at each other, can kinda tell they were both thinking "*" but didnt want to say it.

 

He's not * but played * minutes to progress and he's tall.:icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen: He'll do better under Deila.

Preseason training will be good for him, he'll be fine. Deila's personal and versatile in player development.

 

The way Brown mocks Watt as well is poor.
