Miku was great in La Ligs before he game here, to be fair. Baldé wasn't even first choice at his previous club.

 

We'll see come January when he's loaned back to some mid table mob in Portugal

 

He hasn't got a competitive goal for us, but he has scored for Celtic.

How anyone can judge him on a couple of friendlys is beyond me. I will give him until January unless he's is banging them in before that.

 

He can be judged on plenty of things from pre-season i.e. speed, size, leap, style etc.

Whether or not he will be a failure cannot though.

 

Big man's second touch is a tackle but he will give us an added dimension to our play particularly in Europe.

 

He has a worst first touch than kenny miller! When he did have the ball he knocked it by the player and kept running into him then stopping looking for free kicks! He never closed down any balls or anything! The best thing he done was when he eventually did get by one player but had to knock him to the floor to do it! Even atajic done better!

Don't get me wrong i want to I really really do want to see this guy succeed but he shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11 on Wednesday! Just got the feeling it's another waste of money! I could t help but keep thinking about Russell after the selling of hooper and signing a guy who we never knew Infront of him and for more money

I'm sick of hearing this friendly pish! In these types of games even if they are * and players aren't up to speed you see glimpses of what they could do in time... I just didn't see nothing compared to fisher who I have seen once and he showed glimpses nothing near lustig or Mathews but he had something!

 

Time required, let him settle in and get to know his teamates. Okay I think he was crazy to make certain statements to the press, if indeed it was himself and not some Hun-loving hack attempting to stir things up a little.

It's the same old cure that's required, bang in the goals, keep the mouth shut and give the Scottish Hun press a great big smile, they hate that !!!

I want him to succeed and become a big thing at Celtic. But I can't see it, I'm not writing him off at all, just don't think he will do well here.

 

He'd make a good creative centre mid, in my opinion.

 

From 2 pre season matches I'm not judging anything about him. I have a feeling this guy could be important for us especially IF we get into the UCL.

What else do we have to judge him on? Had he played like Messi for his previous clubs it wouldn't matter because it's what he does for Celtic and Celtic only that concerns me. Every Celtic fan wants every new signing to be a success surely that goes without saying but it's pointless kidding ourselves on. Balde may come good, i genuinely hope he does, but he's not up to standard so far.
