Was pleased he got a goal yesterday, should have scored a second hit the post come back out to him and hit the woodwork again if I'm not mistaken...

Still not overly convinced but abit better, here's hoping this is just the start of many

Have to say I liked the wee cameo big Bobo had. Won every ball in the air he went for, looks quick and is bigger than I thought, looks marginally taller than big Sammy :O

His wee run out on the right was good, nearly scored a header as well

Think he'll come good once he settles. Don't think he'll rattle the goals in but he's something different.

Impressed with his 15 mins or so. First thing he did was chuck himself in for a diving header:56: Will definitely work hard and offer us something we haven't had for a while I think, nice wee run out on the right too although he did get lucky, seems to happen quite a bit for him just powers through players.

  7. Good to see him get a run out, hopefully he will settle in and start grabbing some goals....

    I thought he looked good.

He doesn't seem to run after the ball or close defenders down. Looked like he has a good first touch and very good strength.

His first touch is very poor, wasn't impressed with him at all today.

I'll wait a month or two before judging him. He needs to settle in, just imagine how much he needs to learn. English, the city, driving car on the wrong side ;).

I thought he was pretty good today as well. He will be better in the SPL than in these friendlys anyway due to being able to use his strength.

He is looking * IMO but still going to wait till the season kicks off. Just hope we are not going to add him to the long list of * forwards we have signed in the last few years apart from Stoke and Hooper. And before anyone says Watt he has to prove it for a number of years or even get a run in the side/

I couldn't stop laughing when he tried to knock the ball past the defender and just simply ran into him :smiley-laughing002:

He done very little but tbf he had no service. For such a big guy he was beaten 9/10 in the air which is disappointing. I don't like the look of him so far but maybe it's too early to judge properly.

He was * today. Poor touch more times than not, not a lot of good movement and even when he was on the ball he didn't know what to do.

Only encouraging sign was he won a few headers.

Obviously I'll give him more time but from what I've seen so far, i'm far from excited.

Looking more and more like a waste of the best part of £2M. Even before he signed one of his old coaches described him as ''big+strong but not much ball control'' or words to that effect so what did our scouts see in him that made us bring him here? I mean for pity's sake a footballer who can't control a ball is like a gymnast with dodgy balance or a boxer with a glass jaw. There is no substitute for ability and from what i've seen and heard so far Balde doesn't have much.
