One match, effectively a training match at that.....think ill reserve judgment until I've seen more of him.

I think he will turn out good but not a clinical type, don't think we need him to be tho if his link up play is good and he can score a few headers and bully defenders he will be an asset, we have other strikers who can be clinical and also run the channels.

I knew from the bit of footage I seen of him that his finishing was a bit dodgy and would need to be improved. Last night sort of proved that, the first chance he had really should have been buried. I will judge him on competitive games though, bit of a 'rough diamond' that needs to be worked on it looks like. I don't see him setting the place alight straight away this season but maybe once he has settled we will see what he is made of.

I really really hope I am wrong on this one , but after watching the two preseason games Balde does not look the part. His touch, running style and positioning just look all wrong. I know its very early to reach conclusions but I have been watching Celtic for 46 years and have a bad feeling on this one.

I'd be interested in others opinions.

Jesus. Come back when you've seen him play in something other than glorified training sessions.

I didn't see the first game, but from the game last night the ball was really just being knocked high up the park to him. He looked a bit awkward and i just don't think he's used to this kind of style of football. He might get on a bit better with the ball into feet, but there wasn't enough pace from midfield last night to do that.

On that showing last night, it is a very strange signing, but we'll see if that changes when we put out our first team.

We actually discussing this, a player who has just signed up and like everyone else in the team right now is just looking for match fitness.

I Will not pass judgement until I seen him in more than a handful of competitive games, it takes players a wee bit of time to regain match fitness and then to gel into the team/team's style of play.

2 friendlies and he's being judged. unreal.

fans are so fickle. can't remember many players shining in their first two games for the club.

new country, new culture, new players, new friends, new food, new regime, new language, new backroom staff etc. didn't play too well in two friendlies? get him tae. as if he hasn't settled in already!
