"Why did you want to come to Celtic Football Club?"
"I fell in love with the Club three years ago, every single game I watched on TV and last year I watched the game against Barcelona. When I watched that game I felt crazy and I loved the crowd as well. When I see that game there was no words in my mouth to express the feeling I have for Celtic."

"Are you excited at playing in front of the supporters at Celtic Park?"
"Im excited. I want to play and want to show myself, I want to show the people my desire for Celtic. It's a very big club, a historic club in Europe and from now on, everyone in my country Guinea-Bissau is going to love Celtic as well with pride."

"What excites you most about joining the Club?"
"We thought very carefully, me and my agent. We think Celtic is a very good club but we are going to work day by day, thats the most important thing."

"What type of player would you describe yourself to the Supporters as?"

"I don't want to describe myself, im a very hard working player. Im going to work hard and try to make people love me because of my work."

"Celtic have had some great strikers in the past such as Henrik Larsson. Are you excited about following in their footsteps?"
"Of course i'd like to follow them but I know i'll need to work very, very hard to achieve things they achieved with the Club. Im still very young I want to try and grow up as a player, im going to grow with people at the club, they know more than me and the players as well because im only 22 and im going to learn from them. Im going to take this oppertunity to learn from the players with more experience than me and then I can achieve things and then one day I will become the player people expect me to be."

"And finally Amido, do you have a message for the Celtic supporters?"
"I would like to thank them, I seen on TV the way they accepted me. I would like them to love me with my work, and i'd like to take this oppertunity too, to thank the Vitoria supporters, the club was perfect, they helped me a lot. Im never going to forget them, thank you very much and thank you very much again. I would like to send some regards to my family in Guinea in Africa, I know at this time they support me, they're with me as well. I'd like to send a message to every son of Guinea-Bissau - every single one of you work hard to achieve success and one day you will become the players I am. Thank you very much."

He appears to be the opposite from the interviews I`ve seen, unless you know something others don`t.

He mentioned in his 1st interview that "he deserved the opportunity to play for Celtic". There`s nothing wrong with having belief in your own ability.

He said everyone IS going to love them with pride I'm sure now that he plays here, not that they already do.

So... you're saying that when you see Celtic... you go out your head?

    I'm convinced now. Certified Tim.

Think he said he hopes moving to Celtic will help him break into the Portugal squad

Well he should aim for that but the world cup is next year and i'm sure countries like Portugal would look down on our league, but like I said he should aim for that

portugal dont have any big target men at all, so if he performs as everyone expects him to then, he is definitely in with a shout

I am guessing Darnell Fisher the young english right back..can't be either of Wanyama or Ambrose as both are not back yet.

But fisher is a lot shorter, isn't fisher the guy next to forrest in the passing game??

The guy I'm talking about is at about 0:46, he looks massive, maybe taller and bigger than baldé... maybe a trialist??

0:57 is a good frame, he runs past baldé and def looks taller. Its not fisher as fisher is on the opposite side (with yellow jersey). He has a beard and looks a bit like didier Zokora (although he looks a lot more massive than him)...
