Combination of both Dublin + Celtic

We didn't have any choice for our seats. We've got tickets for section 528 in the West stand. Hopefully any other Celtic fans in the West stand?

Quite right. I find it bizzare those that are rushing to get to this game that are living abroad when we have, hopefully, three CL qualifiers to play before the end of August. The same last year with Amsterdam.

The confusion probably comes from the ticketmaster ones selling out and daft * who are signing in to the Celtic websitesite when the seating plan is just a picture, you cant click on it, so they will be assuming its sold out. You need to click on best available and they assign random seats.

The seating plan comes up like that

Under 16 tickets are sold out and so are the £22 * tickets, online anyway but maybe not at the ticket office. You can only get tickets for Block 115 and 116 even though they offer 110-120 and 510-520.

Just had a quick look. There are still £30 tickets available to season ticket holders with the opportunity for season ticket holders to buy more of the Celtic allocation on Wednesday.

absolute mare with it this morning, rang up as kept getting the error which took 10 minutes only to be told that the reason the error is coming up is because each ticket you buy has to be allocated to another Client code! ie. every user must have an account...... could have saved all the confusion by actually putting this in the ticket info, no kids tickets left either , had shell out 30 for my wee brother

I had the same problem, luckily I was able to add my son to my account and put his name on a ticket. I thought it was because I was getting an * ticket for him, who knows. I contacted them too and was told "unprecedented demand" was causing problems. I can't see tickets lasting long. Now to sort out travel and hotel

Can't wait for this, going over with 2 mates. Probably fly out Friday morning then back on the Sunday. Going to get a triple room in the cheapest available hostel/hotel at the time!

Went into the ticketmaster shop in Dublin and the girl said celtic won't be sending any back which makes sense as you can't even get two together but Liverpool are going to be sending loads back which if you look at the site they still have loads for sale at all different prices for season ticket holders

You won't be able to fly directly to Dublin from Friday onwards unless you want to pay a small fortune. I checked Aer Lingus from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Manchester but it's all £100+ regardless of the time.

You could fly from Prestwick with EasyJet to Belfast (£50 and under depending on time) then get a train from Belfast to Dublin for £15. If you get a plane to Belfast its to Belfast International, which is about 20 miles outside Belfast (don't know why they don't fly to George Best). I don't know how much a taxi would be back into Belfast.

Your only other option is a bus from Glasgow to Dublin (includes connecting bus and ferry) for about £48 but it's 11 hours. Last bus leaves Buchanan Street at 4.20pm.

Hope this helps. I can't get Friday off, so my mates are flying and I'm getting the bus :54:

Taxi from airport to train station is about £25. Dont use airport taxi's ring
A1 taxi 02890246444 or Eagle 02890300333 or a bus into town return is £11 and they are every 15 mins

By the time you pay for a cab, then 20 odd quid return on the train from Dublin, you could nearly have a direct flight.
