Eminemm new single has leaked.. Rap *.

It's abysmal.

 

Just like the last one then.Honestly,I find it very hard to care about him these days,his last few albums have been consistently disappointing,verging on pure pop.

 

I thought berzerk was decent, On my Bose sound system with full bass it sounds great.

I was looking forward to the album but after this 6 minutes of gash I'll pass.

 

It's pish. That beat just isn't even him at all, It doesn't make sense.

Infinite, his first album was excellent. A lot of people haven't even heard it.

The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP are untouchable, and The Eminem Show is brilliant too but showed some signs of him changing as a rapper.

This change was obvious in Encore, it was really hard to say anything good about it. There are some good tracks but it's just not upto is standard. He didn't really like it himself as he was well into the drugs at this point in his life.

Relapse was pretty awful. Again Eminem himself wants to forget about this album, as do I.

Recovery was a lot better, some really good tracks on it.

The MMLP 2 may be make or break for him. I'm not overly impressed with Survival, Berzerk or Rap *. So I hope he is saving the best for the release.

He is and always will be considered a genius in my eyes, but if MMLP2 is a failure, it might be time to stop making music and concentrate on working with some new talent with Dr Dre on the record label.

It's been about 20 mins since I left that comment about 'Rap *', it's growing on me already haha! Lyrically it's pretty * good. Still can't get into that beat though.

 

Honestly see the people that "hate" (as such even though i hate tha term in this case) on Eminem is so generalized. Genuinely think if he brought out anything it would be called pop and the likes. Just because he puts a pop type hook on his songs and the beats maybe arent the best but lyrically he is miles ahead of anybody. Doesnt necesarily matter what you said its about how you say it. That goes against all the rapper thats hipsters like if they said delivered lines as well as Eminem they would reach the level he is at. His delivery of wordplay is unmatched in rap to me.

 

This, Sound 2 and New Slaves are the only songs that I can listen to on Yeezus over and over. No time for the rest.

 

Listening to Yeesuz. One of the best albums of the last decade. I think some people are put off by the lack of big hits on it but as a collective, it's incredible.

Agreed. So much so that I think some of it goes over the heads of some people, like the first time I listened to Rap *. Keep listening to it and you hear things you never heard the previous time. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
