i have said it before on the who would you sign thread. i think WGS should make a bid for Mido. He is Spurs 4th pick striker but is still a very good finisher. He's strong and has decent pace. Shouldnt be too dear either

 

I'd go for Fletcher as I think both he & Brown in the CM would be good as they are both very very fit & can tackle, pass, shoot & are young enough to learn.

When Germany played in the World Cup with Ballack & Frings (or something, not sure) they were both playing as attacking & holding midfielders - but taking it in turns, needs a lot of discipline & communication but is very effective & looks * great.

I'd love to see Celtic playing this type of system & I hope this is what WGS meant when he said he wasn't going out to replace Lenny directly.

Don't need a CB, looks ok for FB's, agree we need a winger (the guy who was on trial?) need a quality speedy finisher, but everyone you can think of who we might be able to afford has baggage...Mido is a disruptive ego maniac, Defoe has a WAG to keep in her jimmy choos & Frei is injured.

 

1. A speedy lethal finisher.
2. A quality high speed winger who can play on left ans has end product.
3. A creative central midfielder who can also defend well.

Not going to name names cause I dont think we are talking English league (worst value for money in the world) or major European household names. Most likely will be less well known but quality players- Boruc/ Naka type signings around the 3 million mark.

 

That said, I would take Fletcher if he was going cheap. Dont want any of those guys who are going cheap cause they have huge charachter flaws. We have already had that with Grav.

you probably know which striker i would like to see in Paradise. He's polish, he's fast as *, he scores many goals, he was placed on the 5th place of the best players in France this season and he has already scored against Rangers in uefa cup

i think what we need is a
Defencive midfielder cos sno is the only one
Our defence seems pretty solid at the moment so leave that
But we really would need to get a striker that can actually score. Miller can't, he can run reasonably, but JVOH needs someone else to kinda cover his back.

we need atleast 2 strikers and 1 defender

 

we need a great stirker who can compete in the CL and anotehr winger and maybe a centre mid

 

IN the Door - Brown, Killen, Mcdonald, Appiah, Barton, Frei

OUT the Door - Miller, Beattie, Graveson, Balde, Jarosik, Lennon

We need another left back as cover in case Naylor gets any injurys

No way do we need any more CBs Thats our strongest position

Obviously centre back isnt our strongest position if you look at the amount of goals we concead

 

we conceded less goals this year than last year, scoring is our problem, conceding doesnt matter as long as u score more goals than the opposition lyke. simple as.
