Here Monaco are a historically successful team. They are not plastic. They are a significant footballing institution with a proud history. The french league is always better with a strong Monaco. They are on of the most successful teams in the french league with 7 league titles. Some dating back to the 60's. People giving them a lot of stick here the situations at Chelsea and Man City are different to this.

Historically yes you're right, however, if they're going to be artificially elevated into the top 20 teams in Europe by a rich backer then ill lose all respect for them in much the same way I have literally no respect for Cardiff anymore

I supported all of those teams before they became amazing. Same with Monaco.

In England, for example, Manchester United and Arsenal ruling the roost because their commercial revenues dwarf the rest of the league, creating a glass ceiling/duopoly.

Monaco's 2004 team.. Dado Prso came on for Guily about 20 minutes into it!

Emmanuel Adebayor was also on the bench.

The porto team still makes me angry!

Making it physically impossible for you to support all of those teams. You probably have more spots on your face than visits to football grounds. :56:

How does one even go about watching Ligue 2 football, anyway? I'd imagine it was pretty difficult to watch Monaco last season, unless you lived in France.
