Seriously; look at the question. It's do you miss Rangers not do you miss competition.

Why the * would you miss they scummy *?

 

Couldn't have put it better myself. To focus on their bigotry is one thing but the game without them is empty and uninteresting, at least in the league that is.

 

Mind you even with them not there , theres been some dodgy/downright * refereeing decisions still being made .

 

We would need a strong Rangers in the league if we are going to beat teams like Barca.

 

Its the same thing though, they were the competition, albeit a false competition that would never last.

 

Whilst these * are still around, the establishment ie SFA, SFL, SPL and certain politicians as well as MSM will give them their adulation.They will do their utmost to keep them afloat as has been seen for the last 2 seasons.
Do you honestly think for one minute, that if these scum were to go under completely and sink without trace, the said establishment wouldn't give their full backing to some other bluenose bastarding team, as long as there was even a sniff of them rivalling us.
The establishment don't want a Catholic, team that originated from Ireland ruling the roost here. It's the stuff of their nightmares. How else do you think that Neil Lennon is being railroaded out of being on the bench at the Cup Final.
These sectarian bigoted * at SFA headquarters want him out and us punished.
The * are so blatantly biased, that they would rather that, as long as we weren't there they wouldn't mind no Scottish team in Europe

 

Naw, Rangers were Rangers. A by product of that might of been the competition they provided while cheating everycunt in a pathetic attempt to keep up with us that eventually killed them but Rangers are a far, far, far different thing from competition.

No. I don't miss them and they are history. New rivals will appear and new history will be made. Either the clubs keep their best players and the league will improve or we lose the best players and we will have to fight for title again, it is just a matter of time. The SPL will not be long without challenge.

 

The thread title is the biggest problem here (it should have been more expansive).

No... I don't miss all the (many) negatives surrounding RFC and their fans.

Yes... I miss the competition and the excitement surrounding the OF matches.

 

I miss everything that comes with having a close rival

But do I miss Rangers? Of course not. I genuinely believe the world would be that little bit nicer if they died (properly). There is not a single positive I see when I look at that club.

Of course I hope another SPL team steps up. But when they do I hope they do it fairly and honestly, and create a rivalry with us that is based on competition rather than just misguided cultural notions and general intolerance.

All that said, if we were not to qualify for Europe next season I do believe a lot of Celtic fans would really start to miss the big game environment that we only get in Europe or against Rangers.

i miss the nervousness leading up to the game and the gutwrenching game itself. that being said im well pleased were onto our next chapter , winning championships and butting heads with the top clubs of europe. * that lot and good riddance to them .

 

i hate when they beat us....hate their songs (especially tommy burns song more than anything) ..hate when two grown up adults ????? Come out a pub and shout in the face of my 14 year old daughter ya * * cause she had a hoops top on........ could type aw night .....i agree we would * them......but me a hope a never have to watch them or hear them again ...just my opinion .....oh by the way a * hate them then..now...forever
