As far as I'm aware, it will be situated on the same area as the old school was.

If we wanted, we could actually turn Celtic Park as it is now into a fancy stadium like Wembley/Emirates, we could strip all the steel panelling from the sides of the stadium and replace it with tinted Glass like Wembley has or whatever kind of stuff like the stuff used on Bayerns stadium that changes colour, we could take the roof down and all the support beams that cause restricted viewing and put a new roof on that needs no support beams on the inside, like one supported by an arch over the stadium like Wembley. And we could have all the walls/structure beams inside the stadium plasterboarded, papered and painted, have ceilings and floorings put in round the whole stadium, we could take down the stairs and install escalators like Wembley but it would cost more to do all that than it cost to actually build the stadium as it is now and we'd probably need to shut the stadium for a year or more if we wanted to do it all at once.

Just to add, I don't think the museum will be a separate building, I think it will be joined to the new superstore and ticket office.

And a casino. And a 5 star hotel. And a floating pitch.

Wait...where have I heard that before?

Was just saying though, you often hear huns calling our stadium Breezeblock Park or saying it was thrown up on the cheap. But it is no different to Ibrox, both stadiums have bare concrete floor, both have painted breezeblock walls, both have beams etc uncovered on the inside, neither has any real ceiling or flooring throughout the stadium. Yet they talk like Ibrox is built with quality materials.

Both are basically empty shells of stadiums, only slightly better than the likes of the Camp Nou and San Siro which are basically all bare concrete.

Scottish teams dont have the money to make their stadiums top of the range as it actually costs more to do that probably double/triple what it costs to build a bare functioning decent stadium and Celtic dont have extra £50-100millions to squander on doing up the interiors of the stadium to the standards of Man U or that as we dont have the money.

I know mate. Wasn't having a go. The fundamentals are that football stadiums are there to serve a purpose. No one is going to admire the architecture or the interior furnishings - San Siro, Nou Camp and the Maracana are all examples of this. Sure, there are some stadiums that will look epic inside - I'm sure the stadiums in Qatar will all be something special inside - but here, it's get the punters in, spend some money and get them out.

Sevco fans having a go at our stadium is rich considering that theirs is riddled with asbestos and crumbling. Ibrox has a sandstone exterior that is 10 a penny in Glasgow - it's not unique. Even the fabled interior is balls. I had to go in the main entrance once and as I reached the first floor, I asked 'where's this grand marble staircase then?' The guy said 'you're on it'. It's *. It's 20 or so steps yet they make out like it's something Elton John would incorporate in a Vegas stage show. 'It's legendary. * unicorns cavort on it, whilst Cherubs - no those Catholic ones mind - play the sash on harps'. It's a * balls staircase.

Ive always thought they were hilarious with their claims of Ibrox. They do seem to act like it's some sort of quality.

Celtic could swap all our staircases into marble staircases and have red brick built round the full stadium just by selling one player. Like you said it's not unique and not expensive.

All stadiums like Celtic Park, Ibrox, Old Trafford, City of Manchester, St James, Anfield are basically the same, cheap stadiums. Only really Old Trafford is well decorated on the inside although not to the standard of Wembley or the Emirates, it's just a well decorated verstion of the likes of Celtic Park.

Aye the marble staircase is pish - I have a mate (well off mind you), who has a marble staircase in his house and they don't bleet on about it, it looks the same - its nothing special.

I had to go on a tour of the shitpit with my dad (bought him a brick over there). Don't get me wrong i like the mahogany and marble together but its nothing major. The rest of their rooms have manky, smelly carpets and some weird rusty wee bike in their 'trophy room'. :56: Place looks pretty boggin aswell.

''But, its pure laden wae history timmy.''

I dare say Glasgow chambers is far nicer outside and inside in all honesty. :smiley-laughing002 :

I like Celtic Park the way it is. If we're making any changes, it should be to the Main stand. Two tiers all the way round.

Would be brilliant but a waste. Theres no need for extra seats - they would never sell out and empty seats don't look too good.

Funny, that was the exact same impression I got. I was in for a specific reason and they insisted on giving me a tour of the whole stadium and Edmiston House - they were very accommodating I'll give them that. There was a fusty smell in a lot of the rooms. I'm not saying that as a Celtic fan, more an unbiased general observation.

It actually wouldnt cost that much to do that, maybe £20-30million but theres no point as the extra 20,000 or so would only get used 2-6 times a season at most. So it would be a waste of money the now.

If we got into England it would probably be one of the first things we done as it would pay for it's self in 1/2 years in the Premiership(built to current standards), we could actually build a big fancy main stand for about £150million that would make the stadium fit for CL finals and it would be paid off in 6/7 years just from the extra 20,000 a game - if we were in England or some sort of Super League where we'd fill it for every game.

I am not interested in us joining the EPL . We have spent the first 126 years fighting against the Establishment and the Establishment club . * I don't want to be the sole Scottish club fighting the English Establishment and their established clubs . The fight has fought right out of me

No offence but I am tired of hearing this suggestion. We have closed down a part of the stadium this season and can't even the rest of it. I know people put forward the aye but if we are in the EPL or a European super league we could arguement and I have no doubt we could but it is never going to happen.

It wouldn't cost that much ? £20-£30m ? That is a huge amount of money for a club like Celtic. Someone could buy a majority stake in the club for that kind of money. If we did get a move to the EPL (which we won't) I would rather see cash like that spent on the squad.
