Need to wait til I see student prices first, we already get about £100 off anyway so if we get nothing extra I'll be really * cos then it's a full price ticket.

Can't believe how many people are raving about this man, do the maths.

Ticket to Celtic v Rangers £42
Average ticket price of Celtic v other SPL side £25
Amount extra paid to watch Dundee instead of Rangers last season £34
    2 v Rangers home games = £84
    2 v other SPL side = £50
    84-50 = 34 + 34 paid extra to watch Dundee last season = £68
    £100 off next seasons tickets - £68

A grand total of £32 saved next year, fantastic Celtic, lets heap on the praise.

Depends where you sit. I'm in the JS lower, I'll be paying £366 now. Not sure if this is the same for the whole JS lower. I think the most expensive ticket is around £560, so £460 from next season.
I imagine it will be the same as before, since to get a student ticket you have to buy an * one and then go to the ticket office with proof you're a student and get a refund. Hopefully the refund will be more though.

Student prices will be 17-18 yr olds surely ?? and at £8.86 a game for that ticket you cant argue

Rangers no longer exist, we can never play that club again. Do you mean Sevco?

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p>It’s a nice gesture by Celtic. But they should be doing more to ensure that the fans, the Green Brigade in particular, are not routinely harassed. <o:p></o:p>

No offence I didn't know students got 100 off already until I read the facebook Celtic page somebody commented on it but isn't that enough without sounding cheeky? At least you get it off presuming you are a student mate. I have no kids but somebody with kids pays over 500 and doesn't get a deal so I don't think students should go further down just because we are getting a cut

Shows how well we are being run as well, you'll struggle to find a club in the rest of Europe who are going to lower their season ticket prices, never mind one that's lowering them by as much as £100.

Nope. My season ticket went from £150 to £509 once I hit 19 and the only thing that changed was I started uni.

I have had a look at the website and being honest i think this '£100 off' could maybe apply to only * tickets? Think the students might be kept the same, but then that makes them full price basically - surely they can't do that?

Good analysis by im_ant also there!

I have also just seen on twitter than the 65+ ticket reduction is only £50.

For those asking * tickets vary in price depending on where you sit.

For a great seat in the north stand you were looking at £609 last season.

However where i am in the Jock Stein i was £498. I think its even lower if you sit down nearer the fromt obviously with not such a great view of the pitch.

So for next season you will be looking at £400 for a really good seat at Celtic Park! Cant knock that.

You will also struggle to find a club that overpriced the actual value of their tickets by so much last season though.
