    100%.

The first time Ajax had just dropped valuable points IIRC. Liverpool were losing 2-1 and it was due to Suarez. Suarez had just missed a golden chance to put Uruguay through moments before biting Chielini.

I think he panics when he thinks he has blown it.

I just find it funny to be honest.

Even funnier people getting up in arms. * like this happens in Rugby and Aussie Rules all the time but they don't roll about the floor greetin like weans. Have a fight and get on with it.
Time footballers were told to man up. Letting them have a bit of a ruck without 2 year bans and prison sentences like they do in other contact sports, would sort the men from the *.

No one has even said - let alone him - that he thought he woukd get away with it, so anything said is just supposition.

I'm sure we're all aware of the phrase "rush of blood to the head"???

Pretty conclusive that, no need for jaw line technology for this one,

Seriously, the bloke needs some medical treatment. We should not be putting players at risk of getting bitten, by this animal, he should be banned, from all football, until the medical profession decide that there is no longer a risk that he will bite fellow players

And we're all aware of the phrase "serial offender". He deserves to have the book thrown at him for his utter stupidity and apparent refusal to learn from his mistakes.

That's a great idea. Maybe we can eventually see "*" like Messi who's small & lightweight get kicked out of the game, much like we saw with Maradona when he played in Spain? What's that? A broken leg? Man the * up ya wee tosspot.

I trust you were equally offended when Wayne Rooney threw an elbow at James McCarthy? Let's face it, elbowing someone in the head is far more dangerous than gnawing on their shoulder.

There's a big difference between that and weeding out complete pussyness from football.

Exactly. Nowhere did i say we should let players kick * out of each other. I said let them do what they do in Ice Hockey, Rugby, Aussie Rules etc. If someone bites, gouges, grabs your bollocks punch the * in the mouth. Have a ruck for 30 seconds, then get sent off.
No police involvement (only seems to happen in football) or * like that.

It will stop snydey * biting etc for fear of a broken nose in return.

And the way to do that is to "let them have a bit of a ruck"? I honestly don't understand the people on this forum sometimes.

A player bites another player. he deserves punishment. Where's the issue? What does it have to do with pussyness (is that even a real * word?) or any other nonsense like that.

If you were walking down the beach in your flip flops with the sun blazing at 34 degrees in the middle of January in Espana (just in case anyone doesn't know where you live yet) and some * runs up and bites you.
    What do you do?

    a) Roll on the floor pretending your in death throes
    b) Give the * a beating

Only in football is it acceptable to be a greeting faced bawbag who goes running to his mammy everytime he gets touched.

I haven't said anything to the contrary.

He will be hammered, and quite rightfully so.

If someone runs up to me whilst I'm walking down the beach in my flip flops with the sun blazing at 34 degrees in the middle of January in Espana (I live here, dontcha know :86:) and slide tackles me i'd likely go mental as well and give them a bit of a telling off, which I wouldn't do on the football field.

Both of us know that what happens to me, an ordinary punter, walking down the beach in my flip flops with the sun blazing at 34 degrees in the middle of January in Espana (I live here, dontcha know :86:) has * all to do with how things work on a football field.

Trying to draw the free kick and have an opponents game limited by being booked is part of the game these days.

Thankfully we've moved past the era where "having a ruck" was considered acceptable. Saying that, i'm not sure if biting was ever considered acceptable, even back in the day when "real men" played the game.
