    To be honest I don't know how ivanovic never stuck one on him,done well not to react and that Psv player smiling and shaking hands,he's a better man than me that's for sure...

    remember last season Ivanovic punched Maloney in the face for no apparent reason. If you walked up to someone on the street and punched them you would also be charged with assault. I'm assuming Ivanovic is also a 'vile' human being?

    Punched in the face, lol, you're making that up.

    That sort of thing, elbows, shoulders, 'afters' colloquially, is a part of football. Shaun, you will remember (or not, perhaps) actually tangled with Ivanovic as well, which doesn't excuse Brana's actions, but contextualises them.

    Bringing it into this conversation at all is bizarre.

    Who knows.

    He's certainly a fiery character, Evra slighted him and made pejorative comments about him being South American, bizarrely, and he responded in kind with some tasty language.

    There isn't a clear explanation for this, though, he and Brana were going toe to toe all game but not in a manner unusual for any normal centre half/centre forward battle up and down the country on a given weekend.
