    Well he's only got 2 yrs left on his contract i think.So if he doesn't sign an extension soon we should be looking to punt him.
    Hopefully this will be the start of a bidding war between the likes of Spurs and other top EPL or Spanish clubs.5 million from Man u and Fletcher would do nicely

    We own his image rights which are worth around £5million alone. It would take around £9-10mil to buy him from us. Great bit of work from PL. :50:

    Finally people are waking up to the fact that our club has operated very close to the edge in recent years, and Keith Jackson and his friends are eating their "Celtic have no money!!" words. Yes Keith keep taking the tablets...

    On the Naka image rights, Celtic have secured them on what is potentially a temporary basis, they will pay Shunsuke around £100,000 plus a percentage of Asian market shirt sales etc. But this compared to what Madrid pays the Galacticos (close to £6M p/y) for 90% of their image rights is a shrewd bit of business for Celtic, however if/when it opens up a larger market than expected Shunsuke has a clawback arrangement with Celtic, where a new deal will be negotiated.

    Interestingly, Madrid have publicly stated that to cost of circa £6M fails in comparison to what they make from these image rights, they made £13M on the sale of Zidane shirts alone!!!

    Also Naka is the face of Adidas in Japan which unless I'm mistaken already provides an income for Celtic even before the Far Eastern charm offensive has begun.

    Again Mr. Lawwell needs a big pat on the back. The potential is there Celtic.
