pin yer ears back after that statement .

Now I know what you mean by it ...the players are going through the motions & you & I can see it ....we are beating ourselves we are not getting beat by even a better team on the day ...we are getting beat by non trying.

We have got away with it most of the season I think the away game v St Mirren & the home game v Dundee united were really good performances the rest forgettable.

before I get jumped on I'm talking SPL here

Wouldn't mind seeing Watt, Atajic, Forrest, McGeough, Chalmers, Fraser, Rogic, the Twardziks and Paul George all getting a start and fighting for their place. Sick of seeing Ambrose not try and the others just give up if things aren't going their way.

    Seriously :97:

Seeing as we are going to win the league, and are favourites to win the Scottish cup, even leaving aside the obvious "fluke" of winning two qualifications rounds to get into the champions league, then playing 6 games to get into the last 16, can you explain how this has been a "shocking year" for Lennon?

And also can you please tell us what you would have considered a good year to have been this season?

Well at least we agree on both of us posting negative stuff :icon_mrgreen: - Players attitude AHEM ......Lets talk about Mr Ambrose. If Lennon had any sense he should have told that taxi to take him to Turin Airport. He is the worst player i have seen at Celtic in years yet he still gets his place..maybe thats whats wrong some of this shower think they are Undroppable.

Mate I don't think Ambrose is not trying I just think he is not a good centre back.

WGS at least still had some good players left. Lenny has had to virtually build from scratch and get rid of almost all his high wage earners. I dont believe for a minute that he wanted to get rid of the likes of Boruc, McGeady and Hinkel as egs. At least not all of them.

Also under MON we had a winning mentality as a club. When TM was there, despite having good players at his disposal, the whole atmosphere around the club was as poor as I've even known it to be. Not dismissing what WGS did as only a fool would but I think Lenny had his hands tied more than he did.

Either way, Lenny has still done a great job for us so far. He's made mistakes like anyone else would but from where we were when he took over to where we are now is night and day.

What i mean is, he came here expecting to play games and he has hardly featured. For him, it must feel like his career is on hold.

Hooper's flukey cross wasn't a cross, he meant it.

Well what I mean is he *'s about and tries to walk it out of defence and be all clever but he loses it and gives the ball to the opposition. I'm sure in the ACN he wasn't as complacent as he is in the SPL, I meant he doesn't try as hard or maybe doesn't take the SPL as seriously as he should.

    Fair enough on Miku.

I'll have a look at the Hooper goal again - but from what I can recall, it was a fluke.

Strachan inherited much better players that Lennon (Sutton, Hartson, Thompson)

Strachan also spent more than Martin O'Neill did.

Lennon has done a fantastic job all things considered.

If Wanyama plays, Ambrose is OK, but without Wanyama next to him, looking for the ball, or Scott Brown he gets isolated. He simply needs to just learn to stop fuckn around and get the ball fired up the park and not be afraid to pick up the odd yellow card.

Aye, i've scored goals like that before, pretty sure it wasn't a fluke, but ye never know. Ye just stun the ball with a bit of swerve on it and it dips.

Most Celtic managers, in fact none - have ever had the football side of things so easy.

Neil Lennon has hardly had it 'so easy'.

He's done pretty * well considering his age and it's his first managerial position. He's still learning,he's not going to get it perfect right away.Bet he'll do a better job next year on the domestic side and hopefully we'll achieve at least what we've done in Europe again.

This season he has domestically which is probably why we are miles clear at the top of the league.
