Was having a chat with a mate in the pub and whenever I see him it always ends up in a pretty decent conversation about this topic.

So opened this to see what peoples taste is on here, some of the buildings you like, have seen or want to see.

Some of my personal favorites are...

    Bitexco Financial Tower

HSBC Building, Hong Kong. The most perfectly designed building according to Feng Shui

    Petronas Twins

    Old courthouse in Saigon

    Marina Bay Sands...

I do prefer the more modern type of buildings but can appreciate the beauty of colonial style too. Hard to believe they all came from peoples minds.

I'm quite into this. I don't know anything about architecture per se but I know what I like to look at. One of the main reasons I want to go to Rome so much is to see some of the beautiful buildings and architecture there.

Some of the places I would love to see..................

    St. Peter's Basilica

    The Kremlin
    [IMG]

    The Taj Mahal

    Notre Dame Cathedral

    Let the people sing,
I love looking up old style(and some new) cinema buildings architecture! Love looking at the buildings that used to be cinemas but have been changed for other purposes or are no longer used. Makes me feel sad sometimes seeing great building that would have been a hub of activity for communities and a place for so many memories just go to rot. Never paid much attention when i was younger but recently realised Glasgow and Edinburgh has had a few absolute belters as far as sub-urban cinemas go.

Enjoy all the modern architecture styles that have been posted too though; the subject itself for a while it was something i was thinking of studying at uni too.
