    Tell you what, if he keeps this up and Erik turns out a good un then I could see it being those two at the back.

    Jozo and Boyata haven't even shown half of what Efe can do.

    He's always been solid, since day one. He's also had a mistake in him, since day one.

    Unfortunately you need to take one with the other. There are times he is colossal at defending e.g. Amsterdam and there's other times he's a complete bawbag e.g. Fenerbahce. We just have to hope his losses in concentration are few and far between moving forward because he is certainly good enough.

    I thought the exact same about Ambrose, regarding his good form, then the fenerbahce game happened.

    We have to learn from the past and abandon hope with this guy. If he * up again in Europe next season or in a pivotal game I bet everyone blames Deila for continuing with him.

    Would get rid of him for free if I could as much as I think he has some talent and is likeable.

    Simunovic was poor today but let's be honest he has been very solid for us so far and has shown encouraging signs, not putting Ambrose down but a couple of good performances against Dundee United and St Johnstone does not make me forget his track record.

    The thing I like about Efe is he loves Celtic and playing here, sure he's made mistakes but overall he's actually a good CB and i think the older he gets, the less amount of mistakes he'll make. Love the guy :52:

    He probably loves it here because no other club are daft enough to give him as much of a wage as we do.

    How is he possibly a good CB? Good CB's don't make a fifth of *-ups that he has. Good defenders are reliable, he is the opposite of that.

    When he isn't *-up he is better than the rest of them put together. Simunovic got beaten really easily by O'Halloran for example. Don't get me started on Boyata or Blackett.

    I would rather someone who is inconsistently good than someone who is consistently poor.

    He has all the characteristics of a good CB, he can just make bad decisions or switch off if you will, but sometimes he can be just be really unlucky. Though recently he has kept it simple and hasn't put a foot wrong. Most CB's get better as they age and i think he will cut out the mistakes over time. You have to remember he was a vital player when we almost broke the record for minutes without conceding. Talent is one thing, form is different, he can have dips in form but we all know when he's in form he is a good CB.

    Athleticly he's far and away our best CB. He's got strength, pace, can jump and head the ball, and is very comfortable on the ball. If only he would smarten up, he could be a 5mil player.
