Not really fussed if Commons leaves tbh, yes he's a goalscorer but he slows everything down and in the system Ronny wants to play speed and hard work are vital

Commons may not be playing very well so far this season but he has scored 5 goals this season and is our joint top goal scorer. Why with Commons as with other players is there this rush from some to want a player sold or moved on when it is considered he is not first choice. We play a lot of games and hopefully will go deep in all the cup competitions. We need a squad of players and over the course of a season Commons can still be a very important player for us.

 

I genuinely think he'll be off to bolton by January or the summer..

Lenny will offer him player coach role which he was going to do here, only an hour or so from nottingham ..

 

If Lennon comes calling in January I'd let him leave. He's been a great wee player for us but I think his overall game will hold us back. He's never going to be a European grade no.10.

Even in his pomp last season I felt he played very poorly at times but that was glossed over because of his goals.

 

he has been good but in the system we now play and will build on he is to slow, slows play down, far to greedy him and mcgregor need to thread the pass more than just take the shot. and to be honest, his touch and movement can be shocking, and to be honest in new system ronnie expects all players to contribute to all phases of the game, and he is to slow closing players down if look at system played on satureday you can tell with role of johanssen that is the way he wants to move forward and johanssen did look really good in a more forward position

 

What makes you think he would be a good coach? Does he even have his badges?

 

i think its cause its turned out to be a divisive situation

ronnie left him out and it was all * in the media and the forums untill he got put back in

you cant say kris is suited to a fast paced game like ronnie wants to play he's suited to the slow build up and coming across a bit of space rather than working like * to create that space

last game i remember kris being pretty good in europe for us and actually he was quite a stand out was it juventus at home all the chances seem to come to commons in that game but i dont think he scored

 

All the chances came to Efe Ambrose that match.

Last I seen he had 5 goals,who on the team has more?ffs.

 

His goals speak for themselves but his overall game holds us back. He's not cut out to be a European grade playmaker. Domestically he tends to slow the game down and gets too greedy with the ball.

 

I'd rather see Ronny go than Commons.

Commons still has a big part to play football for us..

I know but you'd think he was Chris Killen the way some folk talk on here.

It's people saying Commons doesn't fit in to Ronnys formation and tactics. I don't want either to go but I had to choose....

Who would you rather, James Forrest or Commons? Pukki or Commons? Derk Boerrigter or Commons? Tonev or Commons? Berget or Commons?

Can't believe people would even contemplate getting rid of him when we've got far less quality in the side than him.

 

Aye, I don't want rid of him, not at all. However, if I had to make a choice between Deila & Commons, it would be a no brainer. The player has to go.
