So does he not create goals consistently?

You like posting your wee stats all the time, how many goals has he created for us?

 

Sky graphic came up at one point. 11 shots, 3 on target, 1 goal (deflected).

Scepovic got 0 through passes from him, you can't play the creative role if that's the service you're giving the strikers.

Surprising, that. Rarely see him make a pass forward.

Scores winning goal through deflection, remember. This is the problem - people just see his scoring record and think he's a great player. His all round play is awful.

Plus his pace is non existent.

48 assists.

More than any other player in our squad by the way.

But he doesn't create anything?

 

2 this season from 10 games, like I said, not good enough for someone playing the number 10 role.

 

That makes it 50 assists in total then from him.

Shocking, terrible, imagine only assisting 50 goals in his Celtic career eh?

 

He is too greedy, no one can deny that, if he could looks up more like he did when he had Hooper infront of him he would be fine, but I still think he slows the play up too much and looks to shoot way too ofter rather than play a pass.

Both Scepovic and Guidetti never got a chance today due to no one playing them through(Commons and McGregor being the main culprits.)

 

If you're happy with a guy who'll have 10 plus shots per game (more often than not) and finding the target 2/3 times whilst not providing the strikers with any real quality then fair enough.

It'll show in Europe.

 

It amazes me that some people don't realise how greedy he is and how it is a detriment to the team.

Scepovic never got a single shot today (other than the offside goal) and a lot of that has to do with Commons shooting instead of passing.

 

Already has. He's been pish in Europe since he came here.

 

Scepovic has had one training sessions with us you utter morons, they don't know each others games yet.

Hard to keep Commons out when he keeps scoring and he has the intelligence to go with it. He has a shot like a howitzer and that invariably leads to goals of some description, like deflections or ball busters off the woodwork :icon_mrgreen:

 

Why don't you get it? Numerous others are seeing it in his play. Commons was playing in the main creative position today, therefore he SHOULD be creating more than our other players. Yet didn't.

So many times today he would collect the ball in space in the centre of the pitch (great position) and never played a killer pass to Scepovic, he'd just play it wide or have a silly shot. Wasteful.

Nah, he is. He is also our most creative player, that's a fact.

When he learns how to link up properly with the strikers infront of him he'll be fine, he knows how to link up with Stokes and he was excellent with linking up with Hooper. Once he learns the others games he'll be fine. He was exceptionally greedy today, he also got us the win so meh, * it.
