To be fair Paul it was both legs mate. And he doesn't look a happy bunny either. Understandably.

if we can get 5 million then sell him, his valuation will get less becoz of age, but only happy if sold him if went on new creative attacking midfielder though

Wouldn't be too fussed if he did go, to be honest. There was a moment in the match the other night which I think summed him up- at the half-way line and through on goal, and he was caught after 2 yards!

He's been a decent goal-scorer for Celtic over the last few seasons or so, but I don't think his overall play is up to much, and isn't the future for Celtic in my opinion.

If Commons is sold before some of the other dross at our Club, we really are in a state.
To sell your top goal scorer when he is happy to be at the Club, hmmm lunacy.

Isn't McGregor our top goalscorer this season?

Is Commons not in the last year of his contract?

Yip - and I wonder if there is a growing suspicion this will be his last season with us irrespective, so why not sell him to get some dough in, and get the wages off the bill.

Not that I agree with that as a philosophy - not in the slightest. The fact he has gone from total hero to relative zero over a period of a Summer is idiocy.

His wife tweeted don't believe everything you read. Does that mean i don't believe her tweet and he really is going?

Seriously though, anyone wanting rid of Commons is * clueless.

    I think that makes sense.

As I said before, I don't think his performances have been that great for quite a while now (admittedly he has a good scoring in the SPL).

apart from van dijk he is our most talented footballer, I don't understand how anyone could want to see him leave.

To be fair I seem to remember him starting the comeback against Karagundy last year and scoring the goal to put us through to the last 16 the year before so I'd say that was pretty much up there in terms of a contribution from a celtic player in Europe!! We aren't in the champions league anymore, so why sell him when his all round play and goals will help the team domestically and probably in Europa league?!

Because he's in the last year of his contract, in his 30s, doesn't pull his weight in games, and will no doubt be on big wages.

SPL-wise, his record speaks for itself......and to be fair to him even on Tuesday when he came on we looked a different prospect.

I'm not in the "100% love" category with COmmons, as an aside - I accept he has failings. But we are weaker without him, and * weak enough overall already!

Doesn't pull his weight in games? Is a 30 goal return not good enough for you?
