    I think he controls a lot of the attacking play. It really has to go through Commons. It's make or break for guys trying to get into the team. They can come into the team and play * all on their own, but sometimes it also comes down to a bit of greed from Commons and Stokes. Ego if you like. But it's actually something you want, you want them to score goals, then expect them to make mistakes from time to time as well.

    A few games, Commons hasn't been so good first half, lost possession and things like that. Generally it happens when he's deep in midfield. In the box he's a nightmare for defenders because he's got the vision and ability to put the shots away.

    I'd like competition really. Good competition in midfield. With the goals he's scored this season i think he can just play as a striker. So then you look to get a couple of midfielders who can take over and provide the service.

    Goal scorers may not be going well for spells of a game but good managers have confidence in there in form scorers hence Commons can score 31 goals despite showing average enough form from time to time . As you correctly said the Celtic team was playing like in a pre-season friendly in the first half . That been the case I think a good manager would keep his best goal scorer on.
    Lennon's team went through whole SPL season with only one defeat by using the same nucleus of players . I will not question your knowledge of football because no doubt you believe that your knowledge is very high indeed .
    I would say that you are correct to think that, as many other posters would doubt it .

    Not sure if its been mentioned already but just seen a picture appear on Facebook showing Kris Commons and his family on holiday with the Knox family. The Commons' family took them on holiday, or are on holiday with them now. Pretty incredible of them to be fair. Love Commons and his missus.

    Wee Oscar stayed at the Commons' house as well a while ago, and Commons and his mrs were at the funeral. They are obviously very close with the family. Great to see.
