The worrying thing is in the first half when Commons was poor the whole team was poor . We need more players with creativity in their play so when Commons has an off game other players will step up to the mark .

 

Johansen is that man, for the first time in a long time we have a central midfielder who looks up for the run of a striker. It's great.

OK well the first one was both of them (maybe slightly more Griffiths), then. I agree about Griffiths (now that you point it out) but Commons' movement into the space was really smart and his vision to see that Griffiths would have an angle for the one-two also.

He's 31 now, but the way he plays he could play at this level for another 4-5 year!

 

Provided he stays free of injuries, I think that's a near certainty. He's never relied on pace.
