Chick Dung is such a *. He was interviewing Kris Commons there and he was asking him "So if Rangers win tomorrow would you like an Old Firm game in the semi-final?" and "So, are you missing them?".

Commons just kept on saying it would be good to play in a "Glasgow derby" as they are good games to play in. Then you heard Charlie Mulgrew in the background shouting "Aye, very good Chick!". :icon_mrgreen:

    * off Chick ya Hun loving *.

He is gagging to start against Barca and, for me, he is the first name on the teamsheet for next week.

We can have 9 other outfield players that are organised and defensive, he is the one guy that is capable of a piece of match winning magic.

imagine kris commons was called kristiano commonso and was an italian we discovered and signed at aged 20 , and he had performed the way kris has for us during his time here ......we would be hyping him as a 12 million pound superstar and a potential celtic legend

Good to see Commons whacking them in with his right foot too. I know its not his best position but I would prefer to see Commons on the right before Forrest.

I've mentioned this mentality before. It's in our nature though and you and I do it too.

If someone is from Ireland, Scotland, England or Wales we instantly do not rate them as highly or place as big a price tag on them than if they were from Europe (Italy, Spain etc.) or South America.

In all fairness though, Kris Commons is 29 so he is obviously not worth £12m to anyone.

This mentality is most obviously evident in a vast amount of our support's view on Anthony Stokes.

If Hooper was Italian, Commons from Argentina, Mulgrew from Brazil, Ledley from Germany, Stokes from Turkey, Forrest from Columbia, Matthews from Portugal and even Tony Watt a young Russian we had signed etc their values would all be millions higher and fans would like them even more.

Funny how its like that, that players from certain countries are valued higher just by Nationality. If James Forrest was at Ajax and Dutch or Benfica and Portuguese or Sao Paolo and Brazilian his value would double.
