    Without doubt, it's still a massive downgrade on what they had though, all for the sake of cheaper production and a higher Nike profit margin.

    Globalisation running roughshod over tradition and history, as per usual.

    It would look better if the latin inscription was in the badge where the big "EVERTON£ is.

    The old badge looks like a pair of balls and a boaby, imo.

    Nike said it was costing too much for the stitching on merchandise apparently.then Everton bent over and got *.
    It was Everton who agreed to change the badge and it was Everton who came up with the so called 'design'.Shame

    That's Bilbao, City, England, Cosmos all changed to Nike off the top of my head. Think I read Nike were getting rid of Umbro, which is mental if true.

    Such a shame, the brand is synonymous with football, and indeed, the golden era of football.

    Crass commercialism trumps sentiment, unfortunately.

    Now Bayern are champions once again that means that they will be adding a 5th star to their shirt am I not right? Just means that the people that have already bought their shirts are going to want to exchange them. Bad move selling them to the public before the final if you ask me.

    It generally doesn't work like that on the continent, stars in Italy and Holland, for example, are based on league championship wins.
