    Hold the * phone there mate. We've never been a sectarian club. Ever. It wasn't our club who had a policy of not selecting Protestants, I think you'll find the mob down the road were the only ones with such a policy.

    I know a number of Protestants who support Celtic, and they've never had any issues or trouble from anyone about it.

    We have green & white as our primary colours, and we also incorporate the gold from the Irish flag because we're proud of our heritage.

    Slightly off topic, but its funny i know a few Sevco fans who's distaste for the colour green is bordering on obsession. Going back in history was blue not the colour associated with Ireland and on its flag. Ive never had any trouble with any particular shade of the spectrum apart for Evetons Pink effort a while back just didn't look right at all.

    I wouldn't want to see a blue Celtic kit, nothing to do with the team formerly known as Rangers, but the colour is not traditionally a Celtic away colour. Simple as that.

    Green? Yellow? Black? White? Anything outside of that spectrum would be odd, most clubs have an away palette and they stick to it.

    Anyone who views a colour in the same manner that certain Rangers types view green is an eejit.

    Agreed i think as far as Celtic team colours are concerned those will do the job everytime, i have no trouble wearing a blue item of clothing thats because i don't associate it with a demised former team. However ask the same question to a Sevco type about wearing green.............:87:

    Blue is the official colour of Ireland, I personally wouldn't want a blue kit but I wouldn't be against it if they made one. I'd like to see a tricolour kit, green orange and white, some nice designs could be made with those colours.

    honestly, I have never liked blue colour. not because of the Huns, i just don't like it. i had never liked it, even before I started to support Celtic. Maybe light blue, but not speacially. And I almost have nothing blue.

    I havent a problem with Blue, or dark Blue Scotland's home colour. did you know light Blue was used by the Muns before they changed it back in the day. :eek:
