Still have to get the 125th anniversary kit. I've been thinking of getting Walfrid on the back, but can't decide if I should get #87 or 88? Any recommendations?

The club was founded in '87, but we didn't play first game til '88, do I have that right?

 

In these difficult financial times I think Celtic should keep to only two strips for the 13/14 season. Go with Green & White hoops, white shorts and socks ( I hated those black socks with our hooped shirts), second strip should be Green & Black stripes, Black shorts and socks, or a full dark green strip.

 

Yeah that's right. It was formed in the November, hence the Barca display but didn't play association football until the following season.

I think although 87 would be correct, it would make more sense to a wider audience with 88.

I think Celtic/Nike should have produced an almost exact copy of the first strip and crest.

As petty as it may sound, I was even a bit disappointed that the 'wrong' badge was on the left-hand side of the strip as opposed to the right-hand side on the original jersey.

That's the kind of * that keeps me up at night!

Can't imagine we would do it for 140 (or 139 if you believe the plaque outside liquidation drive) because who the * celebrates than nondescript *? :smiley-laughing002:

 

Terrible edit but i liked the Bulgaria tops.
There was a different one with blocky shapes on the side of the stomach area, i cant find it though.

And it wouldn't take a genius, or even an educationally sub-normal cretin, to work out that I was referring to the large amounts of red on the original pic.
I can tell you are certainly not the former, and hopefully not the latter, so I'll assume your trying to be a smart *, having gone looking for such posts after you didn't like what I had to say on another thread.
