    The usual come on as a substitute when the other team is in an inferior position.

    He's way overrated. Pure hype by Wenger. Something he does well and I admire him for.

    Yea was gonna say that. I swear he played CM in one of the Milan games as well and was quality.

    Maybe not, or maybe that was the game, as my memory isn't all that but he certainly has something about him.

    I don't see him as you're standard overrated English player and imo he is a better prospect than Sterling or Zaha.

    Terry has always been overrated.
    Badstuber is not even close to the best young German defender.
    Alba, love watching him, love him as a player, exceptional going forward but his defensive awareness and his tackling, anything defensive is just not up to scratch.

    Finding some of the suggestions in here quite frankly, bizarre. Maybe it's my bias speaking, but anyone who's seen Glen Johnson play this year knows he's not over-rated. He's been marvellous, in the top 5 RB's in the world right now.

    Terry was a great Centre back you can't deny that...theres no shame in being second to Hummels and I agree with you on Alba - but he isn't really touted as a great defender is he?

    He was good at what he done but the main man in that partnership was Carvalho and always will be. Terry was good but nowehere near the hype he got. He couldn't lace Terry Butcher's boots for one.

    Badstuber has a long way to go for me, it's not just Hummel's he's behind for me, it's the likes of Howedes. He's a favourite because he's at Bayern.

    Alba is touted as the best left back in the world, to be the best left back in the world you need to know how to defend. It's the reason he isn't a guaranteed starter for Barcelona.

    I must admit Glen Johnson has made me change my opinion on him recently. Really improved in defence
